Western Ski Cross
Evolve SX skiers 14-16 @ Lake Louise Open Race
The Western Ski Cross program is for skiers who have competed in Alberta Ski Cross events or in Western Canada and caters to both FIS and non FIS riders.The Western Ski Cross program will focus on development of technical and tactical speed and air awareness skills.
Training in the permanent Ski Cross track the skiers will focus on all mountain skiing, gate training, start training, as well as spending time at Lake Louise & COP. The skiers will focus on Western Canadian competitions on the Alberta and BC provincial series events.
There is opportunity to attend Nationals for FIS skiers (who qualify) as well as certain North American Cup events as desired. The program fee includes AA membership, fall dryland training, Christmas camp and coaching for Western Canadian events and Nationals.

- 22 evenings at COP
- On snow training at Lake Louise (Sundays) beginning Nov 13 (weather permitting)
- 10 weeks dryland and gymnastics training
- Coaching at Alberta and BC Race Series
- Coaching for FIS at Western Canadian Noram events
- 3 day Christmas Camp
- 3 Day National Camp (for qualifying FIS riders)
- 3-5 Alpine GS starts & optional speed camp (15 yrs+)
- AA membership
Travel expenses are extra and will be budgeted throughout the season.
