The Evolve freeskiers program is for skiers who are interested in improving their freeskiing skills and have/are interested in competing and training for freeskiing; slopestyle & JR Freeski events. The Evolve freeskiers program will focus on technical and tactical skills involved in freeskiing.
The riders will spend their time improving skills in the Showtime terrain park at Lake Louise, as well as improving their all mountain skills on the terrain at Lake Louise. The riders will also train at COP during the week giving more exposure to halfpipe riding and terrain park features at COP.
The Evolve freeskiers program will focus on Western Canadian events, four JR Freeski events (Castle, Louise, Fernie, & Red) as well as optional fun rail jams and slopestyle events. The program fee includes CFSA membership, fall gymnastics training, Christmas camp and coaching at Western Canadian events
Costs: $2750
Includes: * Training dates can be subject to change based on events/snow conditions based on coach discretion*
- On snow training at Lake Louise (Sundays) beginning November 13 (weather permitting)
- 22 evenings at COP
- 10 weeks gymnastics training
- 3 day Christmas Camp
- CFSA membership
- Coaching at Alberta and BC events
- Athlete to coach ratio- 5:1
Travel expenses are extra and will be budgeted throughout the season.
