Sport Chek SX Tour. Friday Training, Saturday Time Trials, Sunday Race. Focus on K2 athletes, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those planning on participating at the K2 CAN-AM.

Parents, Coaches, & Athletes:

Alberta Alpine & the Evolve Ski and Snowboard Cross Club are hosting the first of three Ski Cross events at Lake Louise on Jan 27-29 2012.
Attached is the Race Notice and Schedule for the weekend.

Here is a summary of what’s going on:

Athletes (K2 & Non-FIS J1′s):

• 2 days of training and one competition day (option for one day of training & competition)

Coaches:

• SX Certification Module will be offered on Friday Jan 27th (details in race notice)
• An on snow SX training clinic will be given by Stanley Hayer (Alberta Ski Cross Coach) on the 27th & 28th for all coaches in attendance (see schedule for details)
• On snow coaching will be provided during athlete inspection by experienced SX coaches & Alberta Ski Cross athletes to educate participants.

Parents:

• A Level 1 SX Officials seminar will be offered on the 28th & 29th by Alpine Canada (details in race notice)
