We will be having our year end party on Sunday April 29 at Lake Louise Ski Area.  We are having a retro dress ski/snowboard day and jump session followed by a BBQ and awards.  The fun gets started at 1030am meeting in front of the glacier chair.

We hope everyone can come out and celebrate another great season and enjoy a few laughs with us to celebrate!

Our Performance team has been following the North America Cup Tour with stops so far in Copper Mountain, Big White, Stoneham and most recently Killington.  The group has been learning as they go and at the most recent race a few athletes set personal bests at the Nor Am level.  The last stop for the team before nationals will be MT Hood in a few weeks for the final NOR AM of the season.

The Western SBX group has been following the Western series circuit with stops in Lake Louise, Big White, Red Mountain and the finals coming up this weekend in Big White again.  We have seen a number of podium results from these guys.  Christian Stronach has had a number of wins and seconds so far and is poised to win the overall title for the Western Series this season.  Thomas Hulsmans and Derek Cooper have also hit the podium, Jackson Zenert has progressed to small finals at each of the last 4 races.  Alison Courtney recently returned from injury to racing and had a huge improvement over the weekend.

Our freestyle group competed at ASA provincials on March 3 at COP and had a great time there.  The group gained valuable competitive experience and all of the riders have been enjoying their time at Lake Louise on the weekends.

Nationals take place in Alberta again this year during the first week of April and we look forward to having a large group take part and work towards some strong showings there.
