First Snowboard Cross Race 2012

Well it is here – the first Evolve Snowboard cross race of the 2012 season.

Registration is under way.  If your just reading this, still time to come out for tomorrow’s race, or come out and watch today’s race to check out what Snowboard Cross racing is all about. It’s an exciting sport

The athletes have been training hard for this day.  Now they get to see how that training will pay off. The Snowboard cross race is the ultimate test of speed and control on a snowboard.

Evolve would like to wish the best to our Western SBX riders performing at the FIS level:

Chelsey Mitchel, Taylor Volkman, Rylan Fearn, Jackson Zenert, Christian Stronach, Thomas Hulsman and Connor Abbot.

Good luck at this competitive FIS Snowboard Cross race level.

We also want to wish the best to all our riders in the open races.

8-9:30am Registration Sitzmark Pub

9:15-10am FIS training

10-11am FIS time trials

11am-12pm FIS finals

12:15-1pm Open training

1:15-3:30pm Open Finals

4pm Awards

4:30pm Team Coaches meeting
